Este proyecto se inicia el el año 2020 justo cuando se decreta el estado de alarma en España. El autor vive en una casa apartada y cerca del bosque, este tiempo detenido significó una oportunidad, un campo de juego para la creación, momentos para la nada, un acercamiento emocional y metafórico al paisaje construido en un entorno doméstico, buscando un encuentro una reconciliación y entendimiento del entorno y de si mismo.
Veñen Corvos Voando Baixo propone una mirada crítica a la relación del ser humano con el medio físico que habita y su modo de vida. Las imágenes articulan una representación metafórica de la fragilidad del hombre ante la naturaleza y los drásticos cambios a los que se enfrenta en la actualidad. Es también un sueño surrealista, una visión arqueológica de nuestro tiempo, la memoria de los restos de una civilización depredadora que agota los recursos del planeta. Una reflexión, en suma, sobre la responsabilidad colectiva e individual respecto al mundo que estamos construyendo y destruyendo a la vez.
Utilizando como material de trabajo los elementos sacados de la realidad disponibles en una casa de campo durante el encierro por la pandemia, estos son manipulados y descontextualizados, el autor les confiere una nueva función, contexto y significado, representa un universo simbólico particular compuesto de ideas ocultas en los objetos y en las relaciones existentes entre ellos. El resultado es una narrativa fragmentada que nos habla de una manera poética de como el ser humano se relaciona y transforma el territorio.
Con este proyecto se intenta sensibilizar al espectador sobre los retos a los que se enfrenta la sociedad contemporánea en su relación con el medio ambiente que la sustenta, transportándolo a un espacio entre la realidad y ficción que invita a reflexionar sobre los excesos de un mundo dominado por el consumo excesivo de bienes y la generación desmesurada de residuos en un entorno cada vez más degradado.

This project begins in 2020 just when the state of alarm is decreed in Spain. The author lives in a secluded house near the forest, this time stopped meant an opportunity, a playground for creation, moments for nothingness, an emotional and metaphorical approach to the landscape built in a domestic environment, looking for an encounter, a reconciliation and understanding of the environment and himself.
Veñen Corvos Voando Baixo proposes a critical look at the relationship of human beings with the physical environment they inhabit and their way of life. The images articulate a metaphorical representation of man’s fragility in the face of nature and the drastic changes he faces today. It is also a surreal dream, an archeological vision of our time, the memory of the remains of a predatory civilization that depletes the planet’s resources. A reflection, in short, on the collective and individual responsibility for the world we are building and destroying at the same time.
Using as working material the elements taken from the reality available in a country house during the confinement due to the pandemic, these are manipulated and decontextualized, the author confers them a new function, context and meaning, represents a particular symbolic universe composed of ideas hidden in the objects and in the existing relationships between them. The result is a fragmented narrative that speaks to us of a poetic way of communicating and understanding the world.
